All embryos produced by OPU-ICSI at the Equinova facilities are cryopreserved until the client decides to transfer them to a recipient mare. This is an option to preserve your embryos indefinitely.

At Equinova, we also offer cryopreservation of embryos obtained by uterine flushing.

This technique allows you to postpone the transfer of the embryo if you do not have a synchronized recipient mare, or simply wish to store them for transfer in other seasons. The embryos, once cryopreserved, will be kept in liquid nitrogen thermoses at the Equinova facilities until the moment of transfer.
